 <p>Her inspiration came from the many groundbreakers of the 1970’s such as the Berkeley Women’s Music Collective\, Woody Simmons\, Meg Christian and Cris Williamson. She has opened for many artists including Phrank\, Robyn Tyler\, Meg Christian and Ferron and has shared the stage with Jamie Anderson\, The Therapy Sisters\, Mary Reynolds\, Two Nice Girls and Wishing Chair to name a few.</p>

Since then\, she has written numerous chapbooks\, served on the board of the Austin International Poetry Festival\, started and run a variety of venues (including Central Texas Live Poets in Temple and Wired Dharma in College Station)\, and has coordinated several poetry festivals in Temple. She has been featured at Expressions and can be<br />seen dropping in on other venues now and then. Her passion (besides writing poetry) is volunteering\, travel (especially to the UK)\, and her two elderly wienerdogs (the Wienerettes).</p>
