For more than twelve years Deb defined Borderlands at its best - as a poet, staffer and board member. She spearheaded literary community initiatives and served as a mentor, confidante, and friend to a large network of writers and poets at home and abroad. This Winter's issue is dedicated to Deb whose service we celebrate with the honorary title of Board Chair Emerita posthumously. We mourn her passing and honor her spirit.
