Open Mic Poetry   featuring Bree Rolfe  Bree A. Rolfe is a teacher and writer who lives in Austin, Texas with her dog Manny and two cats. She currently teaches World Literature at Del Valle High School. Before becoming a teacher, she was a music journalist for ten years. She holds an MFA from the Writing Seminars at Bennington College and a B.S. in Journalism from Boston University. Her work has appeared in Saul Williams’ poetry anthology Chorus: A Literary Mixtape, 5AM Magazine, Touchstone Literary Journal and on the online journal La Fovea. Her latest project, Food Verses, is a collection of formal poems written about Austin eateries paired with illustrations by a local artist. Bree A.
