Alice A. Hoffman Speaking & Signing: An Intimate Conversation with My Younger Self
Alice A Hoffman was born in Cincinnati, Ohio and moved to Texas in 1995. Growing up, she thought her family was poor, despite living in a beautiful older neighborhood with big houses and big yards. She originally wanted to be either a veterinarian or a monkey, but gave up on those to pursue her dream of finding a job that would make her happy. She worked as an Army Officer, a Personal Trainer, Police Officer, and an airline pilot. After 52 different jobs and businesses, she finally realized that it wasn't the job that would make her happy. It was her attitude.
Alice wrote her first published book, An Intimate Conversation with my Younger Self, to share her journey and the lessons that she learned along the way. She spent 57 years feeling separate and alone, pushing everyone who cared about her away without ever knowing why. Finally she discovered the answers to all of her questions, and she shares them openly and honestly for all to see. Her hope is that others can learn from her mistakes and avoid some of the pitfalls that led her down a lonely and unfulfilling path. Taking these lessons to heart, she now enjoys a rewarding and happy life.
Alice currently lives in Austin, Texas, where the sun shines almost every day and she enjoys walks with her dogs in the park. She also lives with her cat, Chela. She feels grateful for everything she has, but is still looking for the soul mate with whom to share her life.
