Lisa Marshall is a Rhythm & Blues singer influenced by Motown, Soul, and Rock n’ Roll. She is vocally inspired by Aretha Franklin, Gladys Knight, Mavis Staples and Janis Joplin. Her song writing is primarily influenced by R&B, rock, and gospel such as Tina Turner and Aretha Franklin to Led Zeppelin, the Rolling Stones and The Beatles.

Her first solo CD is called “Simple”. The vocals are true to her style and love for R&B and Soul. The songs encompass a gritty, funky vibe. Lyrically she draws from early Blues singers speaking her beliefs and emotions on day to day living and experiences.

Lisa Marshall currently resides in Austin, TX. is working on new material, and actively seeking her Austin Dirty Girls and Soul band.
