Winner of the 2015 Red Hen Press Nonfiction Manuscript Award, Circadian is a collection of 12 lyric essays that all engage with inventive forms of writing to tell personal stories about trauma, mental illness, alcoholism, gender, the body, and letting go. Clammer, a BookWoman employee, has been published in McSweeney’s, Hobart, The Rumpus, and Black Warrior Review, among 150 other publications. She is a freelance editor and online writing instructor for WOW! Women on Writing. Clammer received her MFA in Creative Writing from the Rainier Writing Workshop, her MA in Women’s Studies from Loyola University, and her BA in English and Feminist Studies from Southwestern University.
