The Sacred Object, The Sacred Self: A Talk and Workshop presented by Eastern & Western Indian Women
Facilitated by Maganthrie Pillay & Rose Twofeathers
A discussion of Hindu Goddesses and the Native American Astrology Medicine Wheel followed by creating a sacred or personal object. Conceptual inspiration using words, poetry, and symbols of Eastern and Western Indian mythology.
Come prepared to empower yourself and release creative strengths. Participants should bring small sacred objects such as beads, crystals, feathers, or talismans to adorn your object. Basic materials (leathers, glue, marking pens, and sewing items) will be provided.
Workshop time is 6:30 -8:30 pm. Suggested love donation of $20 or more. Location:
