Valentine Pierce is a widely published poet who has performed on a variety of stages from Louisiana universities to California art galleries, Florida book centers to Arizona coffeehouses. She has enchanted audiences at such popular venues as the Maple Leaf, the Goldmine, DramaRama and the WRBH Writers' Forum in New Orleans, State of the Nation in Jackson, MS, Rhythm and Music Poetry Series in Berkeley, CA, the International Festival of Arts and Ideas in New Haven, CT, and Jump Start in San Antonio, TX.
Artist ststement: I am a sassy, funny, intense, world-conscious spoken word artist from New Orleans who uses the everyday aspects of life and living to enlighten, inform and inspire diverse audiences by connecting humans with humans, opening minds to different perspectives and bringing hearts to new emotions.
