This dual autobiography is written in point-counterpoint style by Sean and his mother, Judy. Together, they chronicle his young life and the effects of autism on him and his family. As a young person, Sean was confrontational, isolated, and unhappy. Baffled about how to interact with others, he felt "like an alien from outer space."
