Join award-winning Writergrrls Devorah Winegarten, Cindy Huyser, and other soon-to-be award winning Writergrrls at the SEVENTH Annual Austin Writergrrl Book Fest! Hear wonderful works-in-progress, share amazing noshes and beverages, and generally toast all the terrific accomplishments the group has achieved this past year. Join us!

Featured writergrrls include:
Ramona Reeves’ work has appeared in literary and regional magazines such as Ninth Letter, The Southampton Review, and Superstition Review. She’s been a finalist twice in the Austin Chronicle Short Story Contest. Her novel told in stories will be completed in 2018.
Cindy Huyser is the author of "Burning Number Five: Power Plant Poems" and the editor of "Bearing the Mask: Southwestern Persona Poems," which received a Special Award for Cowboy and Western Poetry from the Will Rogers Medallion Awards in 2017. Her poetry has recieved two Pushcart Prize nominations, as well as a "Best of the Net" nomination in 2017. She has been a Houston Poetry Fest juried and featured poet. She hosts the monthly 2nd Thursday Poetry Reading and Open Mic at BookWoman.
Seja Rachel works by day as a local psychotherapist in south Austin. By night, she writes.
Allyson Whipple has several poetry books and is working on yet another one. She’d send a bio, but she’s also in an MFA program and doesn’t have time. Her work is splendid, though, come hear her!
Award-winning author and publisher Debra L. Winegarten writes Texas women’s biographies and poetry. Almost a Minyan, her company’s first illustrated children’s book, just won its first award, a Seal of Approval from Literary Classics of America.
