Getting to Know the Goddess: Hekate at the Crossroads

A Program in BookWoman’s monthly “Getting to Know the Goddess” Series

Hekate at the Crossroads

Ancient Night Wanderer, Dark One who bears the light, Queen of the Witches—Hekate awaits us in the liminal space where paths meet. We focus on the lore and powers of Hekate as Goddess of the crossroads, the place of choice, action, change. In this time of the new year, we call on Hekate as a source of guidance, insight, and understanding.

Suzanne McAnna, a co-founder of Tejas Web (a central Texas-based web of witches, pagans and people of spirit), practices and teaches witchcraft in the Reclaiming Tradition. She is the author of Tarot through the Witch’s Eye: Tarot Wisdom for Magical and Personal Transformation.

Linda Webster is a long-time member of the First Unitarian Universalist Women’s Spirituality Group, facilitating women’s circles, rites of passage, and rituals for pagan holidays. She is also a labyrinth facilitator and the convener of the Getting to Know the Goddess series at BookWoman. Linda and Suzanne collaborate to offer experiential Tarot rituals and labyrinth walks.
