The Power of Lucid Dreaming & The Seven Gates: a program in BookWoman’s monthly Women's Spirituality Series

Join us for a deep dive into the topic of Lucid Dreaming, as well as Carlos Castaneda’s Seven Gates of Dreaming. We will see how lucid dreaming can be used to get to the heart of any issue that is currently up for us in our lives, as well as how these dreams can be used as a source of healing, spiritual guidance, and insight.   We will also discuss Castaneda’s Seven Gates of Dreaming, which contain some awe-inspiring and trippy experiences.  Perhaps you’ve had one of these experiences and didn’t know what it was called or how to utilize it.  Tonight you’ll find out!  (Note that Castaneda only wrote publicly about four of his seven Gates of Dreaming in The Art of Dreaming. However, before his death in 1998, he shared more fully with his inner group and in their newsletter called “The Nagualist,"  which Angel was lucky enough to receive.)  
 

Angel Z Avery has practiced Lucid Dreaming for years, after a positive experience with the “Find Your Hands” exercise in Castaneda’s book Journey to Ixtlan back in the 70’s. Hooked, she began a serious pursuit of Lucid Dreaming, Toltec Shamanism and Tibetan Dream Yoga through reading and practicing intently. Angel has found that the practice of Lucid Dreaming radically affects one's concept of “reality,” awareness and personal power--all for the better!
