I Don't Belong Here: A Reading & Signing with Melissa Grunow and Chelsey Clammer

Award-winning author Melissa Grunow (Realizing River City) explores what a sense of belonging in her life has looked like as she ventures into topics such as trauma, place, and the body in her new collection of essays, I Don’t Belong Here (New Meridian Arts Press). Melissa’s work has appeared in Creative Nonfiction, River Teeth, and The Nervous Breakdown, among many others. Her essays have been nominated for a Pushcart Prize and Best of the Net and listed in the Best American Essays 2016 notables. Joining Melissa for the reading will be award-winning author Chelsey Clammer (Circadian, Red Hen Press) who will be sharing work from her forthcoming collection of essays, Human Heartbeat Detected.
