The Little Local Texas Cookbook with Hilah Johnson
The Little Local Texas Cookbook is a commemoration of Texas cuisine and the cultures which have inspired it. The book includes more than 30 Texas recipes ranging from the familiar smoked brisket, chili, enchiladas, and breakfast tacos to the lesser-known kolaches, pickled peaches, and Mexican martinis, with tips and tales woven throughout. With hand-painted, color illustrations and playful writing, this book is as charming as it is practical.
