Reading/Gathering/Discussion: But What Can I Do?
In these challenging times, are you asking yourself this question; "But What Can I Do?"
Are you feeling overwhelmed, hopeless, not knowing, not sure, wanting answers to “But What Can I Do?” Or maybe seeking allies to work with?
Join us at Bookwoman Tuesday evening, Feb 18th 7:00-9:00pm for a reading/gathering/discussion with Berkeley CA activist Xan Joi, a radical anti-racist, feminist lesbian and now author as she shares her insights and stories gleaned from driving over 440,000 miles since 9/11 in her veggie oil-powered “radical ride” truck, engaging in dialogue with the ‘choir’ and the ‘other’, organizing actions and implementing strategies to end war and violence, to fight for justice and peace, to dismantle racism and misogyny. Bring an organic snack to share, or just bring yourself! All are welcome!
