By all accounts, the gunshot to the back of her head should have been fatal. But with the bullet still lodged in her brain, Susan, at age 29, would literally start her life over. From a seemingly helpless situation, to the ultimate fight for survival; a true story of hope, courage, recovery and triumph.
Susan lives happily as a wife, mother and inspirational presence in her community. She has served on the board of various non- profit groups and is an outspoken advocate and fundraiser for others dealing with trauma and crisis in their lives. As a survivor, Susan is involved with multiple organizations that focus on Brain Injury Awareness, Gun Safety, Political policies & Women's issues.
