Tara Dance, facilitated by Anjali Maazel

A Program in BookWoman’s quarterly “Tara Dance” Series

Tara, Goddess of Swift Protection

The Noble Goddess Tara is the manifestation of our innate wisdom, compassion and power. Join us to dance her praises in a unique and empowering sacred dance lineage that draws from Indian Classical dance, Tibetan Buddhism and Dances of Universal Peace, among others. By embodying Tara's qualities, we reconnect with our own enlightened nature and the Divine Feminine. In that way, we receive the tools and the outlook we need to move through the world with light and love, sharing our gifts and, in the process, empowering and protecting ourselves and others.

You may dress in red with red and gold accents like a scarf or jewelry if you like. Feel free to wear/bring a crown as well.  No experience necessary. $15 suggested donation. No one turned away for lack of funds.

Anjali, co-founder of the Austin Tara Circle, will be leading the practice. She is a student of Prema Dasara and HeatherAsh Amara and has received numerous teachings from masters ranging from HH the Dalai Lama to Thich Nhat Hanh.
