Please join on Zoom and welcome Tracy Dawson author of Let Me Be Frank: A Book about Women Who Dressed Like Men to Do Shit They Weren't Supposed to Do. What a perfect way to be entertained and learn some Women's Herstory!

Tracy will do a little reading from the book and be in conversation with Cindy Huyser and Susan Post. And of course questions will be welcome form the audience. Dawson is an award-winning actress and a TV writer who began her career at The Second City in Toronto, and her biography tells the stories of women throughout history who defied social constraint by disguising themselves as men in order to gain access to opportunities otherwise denied them. Buzzfeed calls Let Me Be Frank a "witty, sometimes infuriating, wholly inspiring look at the lengths that women had to go to."

Tracy Dawson is the author of Let Me Be Frank: A Book About Women Who Dressed Like Men to Do Shit They Weren’t Supposed to Do (HarperCollins, 2022.) Tracy is an award-winning actress and a TV writer who began her career at The Second City in Toronto. She was a writer and lead actor on the Canadian sitcom, Call Me Fitz and went on to win the Gemini Award and the Canadian Screen Award for Best Lead Actress in a Comedy Series for her work opposite Jason Priestley on that show. Those are like Canadian versions of the Emmy and Golden Globe so yeah...not too shabby. Tracy was born in Ottawa, Canada, and currently lives in Los Angeles with her life partner Isaac, who is a dog.
